Shadows on the Sand is a spectacular bellydance troupe based in Durham, in the northeast of England.
We were founded in 2001, and since then have developed our skills to incorporate a variety of styles of Middle Eastern dance,
 including Egyptian Cabaret, Turkish, Khallegi, and Tribal Fusion/ATS. 
Many of our troupe members specialise in veil, double veil, sword, cane, zills (zaggat) and even candle dances!
